PRESENT PERFECT. English Grammar PRESENT PERFECT

PRESENT PERFECT



PRESENT PERFECT is used for  an action  that happened       
and finished in the PAST but the time of happening or         
finishing has not been so important.                
                           
For example :                        
      S + have / has + V 3          
      1. I have got breakfast.            
      2. She has done her assignment.      
      3. He has given me some money.      
                           
                           
PRESENT PERFECT is used to describe an action that        
happened in the PAST and It has not finished yet now.        
It usually  uses  words  such as  SINCE , FOR.            
                           
For example :                        
      S + have / has + V 3          
      1. I have studied English since last year.    
      2. She has  been here since yesterday.    
      3. He has been a teacher since two years ago.  
      4. I have been in Australia for 2 years.      
      5. She has taught English  for 5 years.    
                           
                           
If we want to make NEGATIVE sentence, add NOT after HAVE      
or HAS.                        
                           
For example :                        
      S + have / has +  not  + V 3      
      1. I have not got breakfast.          
      2. She has not done her assignment.      
      3. He has not given me some money.      
                           
For example :                        
      S + have / has +  not  + V 3      
    1. I have not studied history since last year.      
    2. She has not been here since 5 minutes ago.    
    3. He has not been a teacher since last year.      
    4. I have not been in Japan for 2 years.        
    5. She has not taught Japanese year for 5 years.    
                           
If you make interrogative sentence, put HAVE or HAS         
before Subject of the sentence.                  
                           
                           
For example :                        
      Have / has +  S + V 3 ( ? )      
      1. Have you got breakfast?          
      2. Has she done her assignment?      
      3. Has she given you some money?      
                           
For example :                        
      Have / has +  S + V 3 ( ? )      
      1. Have you studied history since last year?  
      2. Has she been here since 5 minutes ago?  
      3. Has he been a teacher since last year?    
      4. Have you been in Japan for 2 years?    
      5. Has she taught Japanese year for 5 years?
