break down =>   to cause to collapse using force  
  He lost his house keys and had to break down the door to 
  get in.                  
                       
call back     => to telephone someone at a later time.  
  I am busy at the moment. Can you call me back in ten minutes.
                       
check into   => to register at a hotel or conference  
  You'll need to show your passport when you check into the
  hotel.                  
                       
give back    => to return something to its owner    
  I've borrowed your dictionary , but I'll give it back tomorrow.
                       
go away      => to leave

look up       => to seacch for something in  a book or a paper

turn down   => reduce the volume        
  Could you turn down the radio? It's much too loud.  
                       
turn off/on   => to switch off/on
